Newsflash: Sugar Gets Suckered Into Doing Hostess Job for Free
SHDOOPIDLAND - Sugar and betweenbars were seen patroning bars in Tokyo when they stumbled into a narrow alley where an eager door employee ushered the two American girls into the establishment. Little did they know there were just recruited to be free employees in a Sunakku bar. Neither a Geisha girl or a prostitute, "Snack" Hostesses (especially from America) are in high demand in a culture where there are only 2 kinds of women - the kind you have fun with and the kind that is docile, serious, responsible, and good mothers to raise their kids. The hostess fits into the former category. American girls are viewed as fun and sexy. Although Sugar and friend thought they had the best of the deal, little did they realize that being a hostess in a Sunakku establishment commands 3,500 to 5,000 yen per hour!! A broke Sugar was quoted, "if I had the wherewithal that we were actually working for free, I would never had peddled myself as such!" Sugar went on to say, "oh, and my feminist views are in conflict with the fact that I was essentially a 'showgirl' for a bunch of girl-shy Japanese businessmen - I am not sure I am ok with that." Sugar, like many of American females, has also been seen accepting free cigarettes, drinks, cab rides, sandwiches, cover charges, etc from random (girl-shy) men in the cities in the United States, also with the understanding that they aren't getting any either.
